FIVE STAR MARINE SERVICES CORPORATION

February 1994 saw the humble beginning of Five Star Marine Services Corp., and first operate  and held office in Sucat, Paranaque, where Manila’s premier international airport is located.

The company’s first client and principal was Euston Shipping Co. Ltd. of Piraeus, Greece, owner & operator of a tanker and two cargo vessels.  In August of  the same year, Five Starinitially  deployed twenty-four (24) Filipino crewmembers, from the Master down to the Engine & Deck Cadets,  to the company’s cargo vessel, “M/V Dora”.,

Before the end of 1994, Five Star  earned the confidence of  another foreign  principal,Universal Cruise Limited of Singapore, owner and operator of the passenger/casino vessels, later known as “The Mercury” (ex-name “M/V Renaissance I”) and “The Neptune” (ex-name “M/V Renaissance II”).  The company provided crewmembers for the entire Hotel Department including the Casino and Infirmary.
